Goals of the Workshop:
- To provide an overview of the Math Forum site.
- To demonstrate resources available on the Math Forum site that are aligned to the Standards.
Introduction:
After a general overview of the Math Forum site, specific Standards-aligned areas will be looked at in more depth. Selected Standards-aligned activities will be shared with participants.
Implementing curricula that meets the goals of the California Mathematics Standards and meets the needs of our students is challenging. It is most important not to lose sight of how our students learn. Whenever possible incorporate manipulatives, problem-solving activities, real-world mathematics and sensitivity to learning styles with any text-based instruction.

Suzanne's Math Lessons:
Suzanne's Mathematics Lessons began when I first attended a Summer Institute at the Math Forum in 1995. Over the years I have continued to write lessons and add them to the index. In June of 2000 when I joined the Math Forum staff full-time I re-organized all of my lessons under the NCTM Content Standards.
