Graphing Data from Spreadsheet

Step One

Select from cell A1 through cell A36 (or more if you have extended the problem).

Step Two

Go to OPTIONS in the menubar and select MAKE CHART. From the choices, select SCATTER.

Step Three

Select AXES from the choices on the left. Press OK. Enter the following:

1. Axis label - OPEN lockers
   
2. Minimum - 0
   
3. Maximum - 1
   
4. Step size - 1
   

Step Four

Under Axis select the X axis button. Enter the following:

1. Axis label - CLOSED lockers
   
2. Minimum - 0
   
3. Maximum - 36
   
4. Step size - 1
   

Step Five

Select OK. Double-click in the middle of the small orange square.

Step Six

This window will appear so that the symbols can be selected. The filled-in circle is one of the choices.

Step Seven

Here is a graphic display of the data.
