The Math Forum @ Drexel was founded in 1992 at Swarthmore College as the Geometry Forum, expanded to become The Math Forum in 1996, and was funded in its development by the National Science Foundation.
It has become one of the most successful applications of the Internet to education through the development of interactive services that bridge the higher education, K12, and industry communities. These services form the basis for a knowledge-building environment that generates high-quality mathematics content, supports learning by students, pre-service teachers, and in-service teachers alike, and integrates technology into education.
