Hi everyone! My name is Casey Sneider and this is my Math Forum blog! I am originally from Long Island, NY (or should I say Long Guyland), but my new home is Philadelphia. I am currently a Sophomore at Drexel University and my major is Secondary Mathematics Education. At Drexel, students are required to complete Co-op, which is a 6-month job that helps you gain experience in your field of work. Right now, I am completing my Co-op at the Math Forum at Drexel, which is an online resource for improving math learning, teaching and communication. I am a Content Co-op who helps the Math Forum staff create the different resources, packets, and videos for the site. Outside of work, I am the Digital Media Representative for the Future Educators of Drexel (FEDS) and I will soon be a part-time volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of Pennsylvania (CHOP). In my spare time, I love to run, bake, listen to music, and explore Philadelphia. I also love photography and take pictures of anything and everything! I hope you enjoy my blogging on how math and education are a part of my daily life!
