You and I, Cynthia, are from the same generation and I similarly remember silent classrooms or, at the very loudest, "hushed" classrooms (if we were allowed to talk with each other at all). I don't remember learning "so well" as I reflect on my learning. I learned procedures well. I'm interested to hear more details about your experiences and about experiences from others. Thanks!
