Project Description:

Data Collection & Analysis; Algebra How long would it take to pass a hand squeeze around the world? The “Global Hand Squeeze Project”, based on Cynthia Lanius’ Hand Squeeze activity, allows you to analyze how different numbers of people affect how long it takes to pass a hand squeeze. You will conduct several trials, using different numbers of your classmates to time how long it takes to pass a hand squeeze. Using your results, you will predict how long it would take to pass a hand squeeze through 100 people; 1000 people; and around the world (that gets a little trickier).
