Mission Statement
The mission of CLIMEís virtual community is to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics through effective and creative uses of technology.

CLIME's community leaders
Ihor Charischak will be the "Executive Director" of the CLIME group for 1999-2000. His support team or steering committee will consist of 9 members from the NCTM community who will share their expertise in various areas of mathematics education, technology and the NCTM Community to help keep CLIME on track.

Appointment of Executive Director
Election of Executive Director and other officers will take place during the CLIME meeting which is held annually at the annual NCTM conference. The Executive Director's term is for one year. If he chooses to resign before his term is up or if the membership decides to have a new director, a temporary director will be appointed by the steering committee and that person will serve until a formal vote of the CLIME membership can be taken at the annual meeting.

Dissolution Clause
In the event that CLIME shall disband, all assets and property held by it, whether in trust or otherwise, shall, after the payment of its liabilities, be paid over to an organization selected by the Steering committee of CLIME, which has similar purposes and has established its tax-exempt status under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 as now enacted or as it may hereafter be amended, and such assets and property shall be applied exclusively for such charitable, scientific, and educational programs.
