Friday 3:00 p.m.--4:00 p.m
Gateway 103--104
Moscone Center

George Lucas' newest company, Lucas Learning Ltd., translates his personal commitment to uncommon learning experiences into high-quality multimedia games that facilitate learning through exploring and creating interactively rather than through passive drill and repetition. Witness the history and creative process leading up to the latest Lucas Learning project by traveling back in time to see how technology has been applied to critical thinking over the last fifteen years. Then continue the journey to the Star Wars influenced world of their latest CD ROM - a children's game that demonstrates how classic problems can be modeled in an interactive environment - and witness a true marriage of mathematical thinking and gaming technology.
