Setting Up Sketchpad and Cabri II as Helper Applications
You can set up most Web browsers to use helper applications so that when
the browser can't open a document
itself, it will send it to a helper application. This happens with sounds,
pictures, and movies, but you can also set up a browser to use Sketchpad and Cabri to
open sketches, scripts, figures, and macros.
Each Web browser uses a different process for defining helper
applications, but they all need the same information. Below is the
specific information for Sketchpad and Cabri.
Geometer's Sketchpad Settings
You can set up your browser to recognize both sketches and scripts, but you
will need to set them up differently since they have different file types.
Mime type SubType Extension File Code
(for sketches) application x-gsp gsp GSPk
(for scripts) application x-gss gss GSPc
You will probably want the action to be "launch application" as well.

as a helper application, visit
Sketchpad technical support.
Cabri Geometry II Settings
You can set up your browser to recognize both figures and macros, but you
will need to set them up differently since they have different file types.
Mime type SubType Extension File Code
(for figures) application x-cabri fig FIGU
(for macros) application x-cabri-macro mac MACR
You will probably want the action to be "launch application" as well.
