Centroid

The Centroid is the equivalent of "hello world" in any dynamic geometry application. Look: it works! Drag the vertices of the triangle about---the three medians (which connect midpoints to opposite vertices) always concur in a point.

The future release of JavaSketchpad will include numeric measurements, which will allow one to verify that the point of concurrency (the centroid) divides each median into a 1:2 ratio.
