RECENT CHANGES TO MATH FORUM DISCUSSIONS
http://mathforum.org/kb/
We've rolled out several advances and additions to the
Math Forum discussions.
To better protect your privacy, e-mail addresses now
appear in far fewer places; and in the places where they
do show up, we've hidden characters from them.
We've corrected technical difficulties in posting to two
moderated newsgroups; and have also solved a hairy problem
that plagued the threading in two other archives. Now,
posts to The College Board's discussions on AP calculus
and statistics get organized by subject line:
ap-calculus
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=63
ap-stat
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=67
Thank you for your patience as we investigated, tested,
and fixed these problems; and as we return our attention
to filling holes in the archives of other groups.
Last but not least, we've added three more groups to the
mix:
alt.math.recreational
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=435
alt.algebra.help
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=434
sci.stat.edu
http://mathforum.org/kb/forum.jspa?forumID=436
As with most other public groups, use the Forum to read
and search these new archives; and register to post to the
groups.

ROAD SIGN MATH - Jamie Thingelstad
http://www.roadsignmath.com/
Road Sign Math (RSM) is a game to play on the road,
identifying signs that suggest basic or advanced arithmetic,
or that display constants, sequences, or primes.
View digital photographs of actual street and highway signs
that meet the RSM rules. Submit your own mathematically
significant signs by describing their location, road name,
mile marker, and GPS coordinates.
