Mathematics and Constitution Day
http://mathforum.org/t2t/faq/constitution.html
A new law mandates that, starting this year, schools that
receive federal funds from the U.S. Department of Education
"implement an educational program pertaining to the United
States Constitution ...."
We have started listing resources and activities that you
could use in mathematics class as your students observe
Constitution Day on Friday, September 16, this year. If you
have suggestions to add, please submit them.

EARLY CAREER PROFILES PROJECT
http://www.ams.org/early-careers/
The goal of the Early Career Profiles Network is to collect
relevant and timely information about career opportunities
for undergraduate mathematical sciences majors that can be
broadly disseminated to high school and college students.
This departmental network providing profiles of recent
graduates is a straightforward and efficient way to continue
the flow of timely career information needed by students,
counselors, teachers, and faculty. The Early Career Profile
Network is supported in part by the Alfred P. Sloan
Foundation under the auspices of the Sloan Career Cornerstone
Series.
