VMT - SpringFest 2007

http://mathforum.org/vmt/springfest07.html

The Virtual Math Teams project at the Math Forum will be hosting SpringFest 2007, May 1-11. This year's event will focus on probability problems appropriate for high school and advanced middle school students. Only basic understanding of probability is required.

Using the VMT math chat software with a shared whiteboard, students from your school will be placed in teams with students from other schools (and other countries!) to solve problems and publish their solutions in the VMT Problem Solving Wiki.

We expect to hold four sessions of 1 hour each for every team over the period May 1-11, 2007.

If you are interested in participating, contact us with the following information:

  • School name and address
  • Contact person name and email address
  • Age and Course level of students
  • Estimate of the number of students who will participate
  • Any requirements for the date and time of your students' participation
