Drexel University Mathematics Competition

Tenth- to 12th graders interested in studying mathematics at college are invited to compete for up to $25,000 in scholarship money.
To enter the Drexel University Mathematics Competition, answer seven questions and the essay prompt, "Why would you like to study Mathematics at Drexel University?" Ten students and their favorite math teachers will be invited to Drexel to participate in the Mathematical Association of America's regional fall conference, on November 10.
The Mathematics Program at Drexel University provides undergraduates with the mathematical, computing and modeling background to start off a successful career, as well as co-op opportunities to apply their skills in a corporate or research setting.
The deadline to enter is October 23, 2007. Visit the website for rules and additional information.

Fermi Off-The-Wall Math Starts Season Eight

The Fermi Off-the-Wall Math League is an Internet-based math competition appropriate for enrichment, small group work and individuals wanting creative, technology-rich experiences.
Beginning its eigth year, the Fermi Math League is open to school districts and individual students world-wide.
The Fall 2007 season begins October 2. The registration fee is $40 per student per team.
