The Math Forum at CMC-North
http://mathforum.org/workshops/cmc/asilomar/
Coming to Asilomar December 4-6 for the California Mathematics Council's northern meeting? Suzanne Alejandre, Math
Forum Director of Professional Development, will present a session on Saturday:
The Math Forum @ Drexel: Learning Math Together
Learn about and discuss activities designed to help students
develop and deepen their use of mathematical problem-solving
and communication. Help students connect to their own way of
thinking, build their ideas and experiences, and develop
confidence in problem-solving. Become familiar with our
activities including, Forget the Question, Try It, In Your
Own Words, and PoW IQ, that each can be used with any
curriculum to help students approach problem solving from a
wide variety of angles!
Session 262
9:30 - 10:30 Saturday
Pacific Grove High School, Room B3
