Help Schools Impacted by Hurricane Sandy
http://www.donorschoose.org/sandy
Do you teach in a public school affected by Hurricane Sandy? Or
want to help one?
DonorsChoose.org has connected almost a million donors with
over 100,000 public school teachers since 2000, in the process
funding more than 300,000 projects. The online charity has
already helped fulfill dozens of appeals for supplies great and
small, and gathered dozens more, from the New York, New Jersey,
and other classrooms devastated — in some cases, literally
washed away — by last week's storm.

their solutions. We haven't included all the solutions here,
but I did want to share a few of the other diagrams."

"Love, betrayal.... calculus."
This comedic webseries shines the spotlight on "math nerds
like you've never seen 'em before" as they strive to win a
fictitious national collegiate math-a-thon. Each video lasts
about ten minutes; season two wrapped last month with an
episode entitled "Prime-ordial Soup."
Approved by Math for America and screened for many New York
City school children, Math Warriors episodes have covered
concepts such as the Monty Hall problem, prisoner's dilemma,
and fundamental theorem of arithmetic.
Join the Math Warriors fan club for chances to win a t-shirt in
the monthly drawing — or an appearance on a future show:

Rocketry (NAR), last year alone TARC attracted over 3,000
students in 48 states as they competed for a total of $73,000
in scholarships and prizes.
