    PoW taking place: Math problem-solving moment of the week

 "I notice that worms are made of of Isololecees triangles....
 I wonder what exercise they do because if they grow that same
 amount each day they must do the exact same thing each day. I
 wonder how long the pattern will continue before it dues....
 We also noticed that in the middle of the worm there are
 double the number of triangles.... So we made that 
 an expression...."

 Just getting started in the classroom? Know a new math teacher
 in search of face-to-face learning opportunities?

 The Academy of Best Practices: New Math Teacher Institute aims
 to foster math teachers' pedagogical learning and leadership
 development by addressing such questions as "What does a
 student-centered, problem-based math classroom look like?" and
 "How can I make the Standards for Mathematical Practice flow
 seamlessly through my lessons?"

 All workshop costs, including travel, are covered by CPM
 Educational Program, which offers a stipend and the option of
 earning graduate credit.
