A national non-profit organization that advocates U.S.
conversion to the International System of Units (SI), also
called the modern metric system.
The process of changing the U.S. system of units to the
metric system is called metric transition or metrication.
This site contains information on the SI metric system, on

on USMA accomplishments and activities. Links to relevant
non-commercial Web sites are also provided.

The World Puzzle Championships have been held annually since
1992. This year the 8th competition will take place in Erno
Rubik's birthplace, Hungary.
On October 9, 1999, the Official Rubik's Web site will host
the first ONLINE World Puzzle Championship, during which
anyone can challenge the world's best puzzle solvers.
Participation is free and prizes are offered; for details,
