- Selected Web resources, chosen by a panel of mathematics 
  educators

- Internet-based lesson plans: examples of how Internet 
  links can be used to help create effective Standards-based 
  mathematics lessons

- Principles and Standards: a searchable, interactive version 
  of the updated NCTM Standards

Shockwave activities illustrating real-time correlations 
between equations and graphs, designed to help students
visualize and experiment with concepts from elementary 
algebra through pre-calculus. Graphs of functions, systems, 
and complex numbers are included. 

In addition to slide-bars for varying parameters and values 
of variables, most activities allow zooming and panning in 
the plane, data exportation, screen snapshots, and tooltip 
help. The site also allows members to create and view Web
