The College Board's Online Home for AP Professionals,
AP Central, has published an article written by the Japanese
Lesson Study group from the 2003 Park City Mathematics
Institute (PCMI). "Lesson Study: A PCMI Experience" is about
the group's experience developing the lesson, "Studying
Dimensionality Through a Stair-Step Fractal."
PCMI is a program of the Institute for Advanced Study. The
Japanese Lesson Study is one of five working groups meeting
this summer in July. For more information on the program,

Clearinghouse (the Eisenhower Network) has developed a new
Web page of products and resources for educators interested
