It has been a wonderful year!! I would like to congratulate all the teachers and students
who took part in The Math Forum Elementary Problem of the Week project during the 1997-98
school year. Over 3,900 students from more than six hundred schools participated in this
project.
Students who persevered week after week and earned a place on the top 100 list should be very proud of themselves. Certificates will be sent to schools within the next few weeks. If you have enjoyed doing these problems, please tell your friends. We want to share the Elementary Problem of the Week (and the rest of The Math Forum) with as many people as possible. ;<) Remember that a new year of fun problem solving will begin September 7, 1998. Happy problem solving!! ;<)
