A single tiny motif as seen in the two previous rug images is repeated throughout the central field of this carpet. Here it looks like a flower, whereas previously it was upside down in relation to the pile or on its side in another variation.

Identical in color and weave structure to the last example, this rug has a very different field pattern because of the seemingly superimposed square grid. Can you see how this affects the symmetries? Notice the tessellation used as a border pattern on either side of the main borders.
