It's pizza day, and the cafeteria staff has decided to let the seniors help them prepare lunch. Before they are allowed to help in the kitchen, these students must first pass a practical quiz administered by Chef Paul. Paul poses this puzzler:"I have a stack of pepperoni slices, each of which is 6 centimeters in diameter. I also have a circle of pizza dough that is 18 inches in diameter. If no pepperoni is allowed to overlap or extend beyond the edge of the pie, what is the maximum number of pepperoni slices that can be placed on the face of the pie?"
