Multiplying a repeating 6's number by 888

1. Choose a repeating 6's number (666, etc.)
2. Multiply it by 888
3. The product is:
- the first three digits are 591
- the next digits are 9's (three fewer than repeating 6's in the original number)
- the last three digits are 408

Example:

1. If the first number is 666666:
2. Multiply by 888. The product is:
- the first three digits are 591: 591
- the next digits are 9's (three fewer than repeating 6's in the original number): 999
- the last three digits are 408
3. So 666666 × 888 = 591999408.

See the pattern?

1. If the first number is 666666666666:
2. Multiply by 888. The product is:
- the first three digits are 591: 591
- the next digits are 9's (three fewer than repeating 6's in the original number): 999999999
- the last three digits are 408
3. So 666666666666 × 888 = 591999999999408.
Use these three steps and you will producing these large products with ease.
