But there is a qualifier for that for we tend to ignore the square root operator. Y = sqrt(1x^2), and so we view that, probably wrongly as a power of 2 equation giving no weight to the sqrt operator. If sqrt is power 1/2 and since the "x" is of power 2 we may have power 2.5 involved and that i end up needing a 3rd degree polynomial. But for the time being i will try quadratic.
