This was never about whether technology sucked. It was whether the pedagogy sucked.
The clip you posted is a real programming class for a well prepared (programmatically and mathematically) intermediate class. These are the types of classes I want to see, with qualified students, and prerequisite classes that prepare them.
You know that classes very seldom look like this in public school anymore, right? But if you search you can still find a few in your area that still treat education this way. Then the hurdle is getting through admissions / lottery.
