Tuesday afternoon Suzanne Alejandre shared some fun activities with
the special properties of magic squares - lots of which is
information
she collected from her collaboration with Allan Adler. Her collection
of Magic Square information is at

She defined a magic square, and told us how to easily construct a
4X4 Magic Square by counting to 16. You can see this method
illustrated
at

Using that Magic square, she showed us a method for constructing a
12x12 Magic square that was truly amazing! You can see information
about this at

Many thanks to Suzanne and Sarah for a terrific lesson.
