Cube Puzzle Problem
On Thursday evening after dinner, Kimberly Drake presented a cube puzzle. The group divided into pairs, each group being given a paper cube. We were not to look at the bottom face of the cube, but from the information given on the other five sides were to guess the colors, numbers, and name on the bottom. A cube puzzle handout for you to experiment with or use with your class is available for printing out at

The opposing sides are illustrated at

A discussion that ranged from how many letters the bottom face would have, and why, to what is a valid name and what is not, followed the exercise. The game was much enjoyed by everyone.
