Switching careers?

I am turning 30 yrs old this year and am going back to school to hopefully finish a degree in Secondary Education (Math). Am I to old to be doing this? I am trying to finish and be teaching by the time I turn 33. I live in the Minneapolis area and my wife teaches Talented and Gifted students in grades 1-6. I'm curious if anyone has started later in life (over 23 or 24 yrs old) and what you found. I love teaching and am really looking forward to hopefully accomplishing my goals.
Thanks for any advice you can provide.
Matt
