First of all I must congratulate Julio for the excellent [HM] list. I think this list should go on as it is (only very clear and obvious improvements should be considered).

I normally use the archives of this list to look for things that interest me at times that differ from the posting of messages. I use the "Find" capability of "Eudora", as I keep *all* the messages of the mailing list. These personal archives are very useful and, in a fast machine, very efficient. So I imagine that an electronic journal that quotes the more important messages, with some supplements and longer texts that cannot be easily incorporated into email, would be extremely useful.
