This list is important for all interested in history of mathematics. Some questions (and answers, too) are somewhat naive; others show that nowadays it seems not to be normal, as it was before, to go to a library or look at an encyclopedic work (which should be accessible without problems): of course it is easier to write an e-mail. But this is a general change in thinking. Many questions (and many answers) are given in great detail, sometimes from the best specialists in this field. Thus I have a good impression.
