Forgive me, but I really wish someone would address the issue that, overwhelmingly, the most math done by most people is done in their heads sans calculator.
Will we all be reduced to carrying around calculators in the supermarket, while capable of understanding the consequences (and benefits) of exponential growth, for example.
I think not.
