Hi Judy,
I have had exchange students at the high school level from Spain and
Portugal. Both students were very difficult to place in our college prep
math program because the math course that they were coming from were
integrated. The closest analogy in the USA seems to be the University of
Chicago program. (I don't like it nor do I feel its effective so I try not
to make judgements.) The names of the courses seemed just to be a
translation of Math 1, Math 2, Math 3, and Math 4. If you have any more
questions on specifics, I have a Spanish exchange student in the department
