How about learning the basic facts.... If drill is not the way to go...How are we going to get our students fluent with their basic facts? I am very supportive in the mathematical way of thinking by using Investigations, however, after a year of teaching with this program, I feel my students do not have the quick recognition of their basic facts. Any suggestions??
