I am wondering if anyone is using Investigations in a multi-age classroom. I have 4th and 5th graders. Generally, I would present a mini-lesson for the whole group (or conduct an investigation) then use what I know of the students' ability levels to offer a variety of practice or assessment acitivities. Since the units are not necessarily linked, I'd be interested in hearing how others are doing it. I can see how each of the units at BOTH grade levels could be adapted to the class. Maybe we should put it on a rotating schedule the same way we do with Science and Social Studies? Any ideas??
