Hi! We are piloting Investigations this year in 5th grade. Our district adopted Investigations K-4 last year. Here is the challenge for us. We are in a middle school setting...grade 5. I teach three periods of math. We have 39 minutes per period.This 39 minute period is really more like 35 minutes by the time the settle in. Can anyone help us figure out how to fit this program in? I feel as though it will be nearly impossible to really teach all that is involved in such a short time period. There is no chance of a double period math block or anything at this point. We have 39 minutes. Help! Thanks.
