For all those interested: As I understand from my research, Portland Public Schools adopted Investigations 3 years ago to boost studend scores on Problem Solving. Test scores released in Oregon 2 weeks ago show that the Problem Solving scores for fifth grades in Portland FELL DRAMATICALLY! The assessment tests kids using performance based assessment and NOT multiple choice. WHEN WILL WE EVER LEARN?
