I've had split classes for the last 6 years, but this year with Investigations, and 5 ADHD students in fifth grade...I'm not doing a very good job getting the discussions and posting of their thinking and often have to leave them working on their own and the noise trying to listen to the other grade....oh it's so hard. And another question while I'm at it: In the assessments, it's very easy to grade with a + check, or N...but each is a different task and the understandings on one task vary from others. How are people overall grading?
