I received this question from an Investigations teacher: "If you are teaching Investigations, what do you do when child is absent from school for a week? How would you catch that child up? You can't go back and do all the activities with the child or assign this for something to be done at home......" I sent it to Megan Murray at TERC and she said... "I'm never quite sure what to say to this question as it seems like a question that applies to any curriculum. I would recommend posting the question on the CESAME discussion areas, and hearing how different teachers handle this." So I would like to ask Investigations teachers to respond with their ideas, siggestions and solutions. Thanks!
