One of the biggest things I learned when doing the units for the first time was to have patience. Especially with the fractions unit. They may start out pretty lost and appear to be struggling with the new concepts, but gradually over the unit things really started clicking with them. You can just see the lightbulbs go off! Picturing Polygons was a lot of fun and easy to teach. They loved being on the computers!
