Hi Sue, In my town the mathematics part of our "conference form" is based on our learning outcomes. The learning outcomes are based on state and national standards. The Investigations curriculum was chosen because it was believed to be the best instrument for moving students towards achieving the learning outcomes. I don't know what if any changes were made to the conference form based on adopting the Investigations curriculum. I hope others will respond. I'm curious to hear if other systems have changed their formal assessments becuase of using Investigations.
