What a wonderful way to teach the kids not to copy but to really work together when allowed. I'm going to have it read aloud in each class AND posting it on my POW bulletin board. On papers that are supposed to be done alone, I usually write "see comments on so-and so's paper" on the paper of the person who I think created the solution, and write comments on the paper of the person I think copied.<grin> I then give them each part credit. That seems to work for the short time they're in my classes. Your solution feels as if it will work long term! Thank you!
