Just a thought: Lou Tuss = Lutus. 1) Did mr. Lutus start this thread? or 2) Did someone else (an anonymous troll) start this thread under the name of Lou Tuss, expecting us to think that Lutus made this thread for his own delightment? 3) Is Lou Tuss an existing human being?
Either way: Most of the persons involved (incl. Lutus) in this thread treat each other with a genuine lack of respect. This discussion is an example of how efficient, rational communication should _not_ be. Even the name of the subject indicate that this discussion started on the wrong foot.
If mr. Lutus has been accused for something in a rude way, he has nothing to win by replying ditto. That goes for all of us. We don't learn anything by throwing dirt at each other.
If anyone think it would interesting to discuss mr. Lutus statement:
>lim x -> infinity, 1/x = 0. This is a limit, not an identity. The equals >sign in the limit expression doesn't have its usual meaning -- in this case >it means "approaches," not "equals."
,then make a new thread where people can discuss this matters on the conditions of efficient, rational communication.
