I wish I could be more definite about this. I do recall seeing
a book dating to the nineteenth century whose author apparently
thought he had found ALL the mistakes ever made in mathematical
proofs and listed every one of them. Unfortunately, I can't
remember either the title or the author.
It may come to me if I let my mind run over it for a day or so.
