[HM] Lame on Fermat's_Last_Theorem?

It seems that for a short time the mathematician Lamé did believe he had a
proof of FLT, which he soon realized rested on erroneous ideas about unique
factorization in algebraic integers. Several web sites discuss it, some in
detail with quotes of correspondence, but following the standard customs of
the Internet they give no sources.

Can anyone point me to sources? If I had it here I would look in Edward's
book on FLT but I do not have it.
