My student's love the opportunity to work on the SmartBoard. I find that when I use the SmartBoard to display and manipulate virtual manipulatives, they are more actively engaged in the learning and attentive to the lesson. I'll admit that it requires more patience and time to allow students the opportunity and time to be part of the lesson on the SmartBoard.
