Hi everyone,
Sorry I am so slow with this posting. I just got back from a workshop at the Joint Conference on Digital Libraries (JCDL) in Denver and have been a bit overwhelmed with catching up.

So I looked at my bio from last year and there was nothing! Gosh I guess I am not very good at communicating. So I guess I should fill in a little.

I am a cultural anthropologist at Drexel University. If you want to check out my minimal website it is http://www.geocities.com/shumarw. I've been working with the Math Forum since about 1997 when I was invited by Ann Renninger to help with the evaluation of the original Math Forum NSF grant.

Since beginning that work we have done many things but I have gotten particularly excited about the way that The Math Forum and its community members have used the site to expand their community and create new working possibilities for themselves and others.

I could say a lot more about this but I'll leave it for now. I am very excited about this toolfest and I am very interested to see how you all are using the site to further your thinking and work with each other.
Wes
