Hi Craig,
As Annie stated, the "content" folks (in this case me!) are trying to handle the addition of the Top "N" Lists to Math Tools. Here's the scenario that I have in mind:
1. Folks browse the Math Tools catalog finding the tools that they remembered worked well with their students.
2. As they browse they use the "save item" link on the tool catalog page so that the URL saves in their My MathTools area.
3. Once they fine tune their list, they'll copy/paste those URLs to an email to me with this information:
-name of tool -URL of tool in Math Tools catalog -one or two sentences of annotation (possibly copy the description but better yet briefly describe what math it helps your students learn
-short bio paragraph so that users know who is recommending what (or in the case of Tool Festers, I can just link to the ToolFest '04 bio page)
4. I'll then write a web page using that information.
5. Once I have a few Top Ten lists I'll write an index page.
6. I'll link to that page from the home page of Math Tools so that the Top Ten lists are easy for everyone to find.
----------- How does that sound?
Suzanne
