I do. But if a person cannot afford to be wrong, then the opportunity to learn is lost. The trick is to recognize your goofs ASAP (without inflicting too much pain on others) and then learn/grow from them. I hope I've done that, albeit at some confusion to (other) students. For that I apologize.
Maybe learning from your mistakes is inevitably a lot like making sausage -- not for the faint of heart.
