Thanks for your thoughts. One other question, related but slightly
different... How would you solve this from a profit maximization point
of view? The question up until now has been how to identify which
3,000 items to review - but what if the 3,000 item constraint were able
to be changed? How would one identify what the optimum number of items
to review would be?

Not sure what all would need to be taken into account to solve that...
